Kyle Larson Passes the Crown To Sprint Car Winner for Biggest Celebration Fail

Kyle Larson has been a consistent presence in both NASCAR and Sprint car racing over the years. However, celebrations don’t always go as planned for drivers, as seen in incidents involving Larson himself, as well as JJ Yeley.

One notable incident occurred in 2013 at Gas City, where Larson’s celebratory car ride ended in a flip, with his car landing on its right side. Despite the mishap, Larson emerged unscathed and still managed to celebrate his victory. This incident served as a humorous reminder of JJ Yeley’s similar mishap after a win at Limaland back in 2002.

Interestingly, the 2024 Eldora race added another winner to the list of celebratory mishaps. Justin Grant, who had already secured four wins in the season, found himself upside down in his car during his post-race celebration. FloRacing shared a video of the incident, prompting a response from Larson, who humorously remarked, “I’ve only waited 2 years to hand over the crown for biggest celebration fail. Thank you @JustinGrant40.”

Kyle Larson, the talented NASCAR driver, has had some intense moments during his sprint car races. Let me share a couple of incidents where his car ended up upside down:

During the Eldora Million race at Eldora Speedway, Kyle Larson was racing in the winged sprint car World of Outlaws series. Unfortunately, a multi-car wreck occurred triggered by Aaron Reutzel spinning in front of Larson’s #57 sprint car.

As a result, Larson’s car tumbled upside down before further impacts from other drivers like Spencer Brayson and Gio Scelzi. The final impact came when Lachlan McHugh clipped the #57 car’s rear right side, leaving spectators in awe. Thankfully, all drivers involved in the wreck were able to climb out of their cars without assistance.
