During the race, on Lap 40, Christopher Bell made contact with Kyle Busch in Turn 1. As a result of this contact, Kyle Busch’s car spun around, causing him to lose several positions. Understandably, Kyle Busch was frustrated by this turn of events.
After the race, Kyle Busch approached Christopher Bell and had words and warned him for creating the wreck. Recently Kevin Harvick offered insights into the crash on his podcast and resonated the frustration of the RCR driver.

During the Harvick Happy Hour show, Kevin Harvick was asked about his take on the incident involving Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell. Kevin discussed how Bell mentioned that he was trying to fill the hole and likened the incident to regular racing deals. He also mentioned Kyle’s rough day, dealing with fuel issues and a spin that likely contributed to his frustration.
Speaking on the Harvick’s Happy Hour Podcast, the former SHR driver shared, “I think in general, Kyle is just frustrated with the way that the start of the year has gone and I think you’re starting to see more of those situations boil over.”
The tough end of the day of Kyle Busch at COTA
Kyle Busch found himself in a sticky situation. After completing 231.88 miles of intense racing, his car ran out of fuel during the cooldown lap. Fortunately, his former teammate and 2017 Cup champion, Martin Truex Jr., came to the rescue, pushing Kyle’s car back to the pits.

As Kyle returned to the pits, he climbed out of his car in a hurry. His frustration was evident as he engaged in a heated conversation with the driver of the No. 20 car, Christopher Bell.
