16-time WWE World Champion John Cena recently revealed that he is recuperating following surgery due to his issue in his arm. Thanks in part to a free schedule brought up by the now-ended SAG-AFTRA strikes, Cena has made the longest return to WWE that fans have witnessed in years. But, that’s in jeopardy.
Taking to Twitter, Cena thanked Dr. Jeff Dugas of the Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. ‘The Greatest of All Time’ didn’t reveal the nature of the injury but said his arm had been fixed, cleaned, and that he was heading for therapy, and said he would have work done on his other arm.
“Thank you @JeffDugasMD and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!”

John Cena and Solo Sikoa squared off in Cena’s most recent encounter at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Many had predicted that Cena would win the WWE PLE for the first time in five years, but Sikoa prevailed against the former world champion. Since then, Cena has hinted at his intention to leave the ring. Even during the show, on commentary, Michael Cole added to the sombre feeling around the legend, describing Sikoa as “the man who retired John Cena.”
