Chase Briscoe started 10th at Martinsville and finished in the same position. Brisco was a little bit disappointed with his P10 as they were not able to finish better even after starting and finishing at the same position. However, Briscoe broke the streak of nonstop 10 at Martinsville. A recent announcement of Chase Brisco having twins by October created a mixed feeling of excitement and fear for the SHR driver.
Chase Briscoe recently revealed that he and his wife Marissa are expecting twins. The Stewart-Haas driver announced his qualifying performance at the Martinsville Speedway. Their first child, Brooks Wayne Cunningham Briscoe, was born on October 2, 2021.

Recently talking with Bob Posckrass Chase Brisco said, “There’s not much in life honestly that compares the doctor being like, ‘Oh congratulations there’s two.’ Like there’s very few things I feel like compared in life to that. It’s going to be a big change in our household but I’m excited, it is scary though at the same time for sure.”
Chase Briscoe disappointed with SHR pit stop
Despite finishing in 10th place, breaking a three-race streak of non-top-10 finishes at the iconic short track, Briscoe expressed his frustration with the result. He labeled it as the worst P10 finish of his career. The race was particularly disappointing given that it occurred in the same week as the announcement that he and his wife were expecting twins.

Briscoe attributed the subpar result to a poor pit stop and difficulties passing on the track. He stated, “We ran 10th, but that was the worst 10th. We were better than that all race long, so that is frustrating. We kept shooting ourselves in the foot. We lost a couple of spots on pit road and then ran long, losing a lot of track time there”.
Despite the frustration, Briscoe believes his car had the speed to contend for a top-3 finish alongside the HMS drivers. However, the lack of passing opportunities and execution issues hindered their performance. Looking ahead to the next race at Texas Motor Speedway, Briscoe aims to secure a top-5 finish or even a win, drawing confidence from his past success at that track.
