FIFA World Cup 2022: Richarlison Scores Twice As Brazil Defeat Serbia 2-0

Brazil, the five time world champions have now gone 15 group stage matches undefeated as Richarlison earned a brace in their Group G showdown against Serbia this Thursday at the Lusail Stadium.

It was until the match progressed into the last thirty minutes when Tite’s boys had their first score of the night. Into the 73rd minute, Richarlison marked Brazil’s second goal of the night, this time, with a brilliant cross from Vinicius coming in his way, as the 25-year-old forward made his first touch to keep the ball in the air, followed by a volley past Milinkovic-Savic into the net. THe goal also marked his 19th on the international level.’

Casemiro made his attempt in the 82nd minute as the ‘Canarinho’ were looking to get their third of the night, but the ball hit the crossbar. Nonetheless, three points were picked up by Brazil in their Qatar 2022 campaign opener.
