Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins seemingly had a great time during the clash between Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. He is currently sidelined with an injury but doesn’t mean he can’t celebrate in his own way.

Kirk Cousins went shirtless

The quarterback tore his Achilles in late October against the Packers and that put an end to his 2023 campaign amid his team’s five-game winning streak. They have gone 1-4 and were in a situation where they had to win in a Sunday Night Football rematch against their long-time arch-rivals.

Despite having the injury, Kirk Cousins made his presence felt at US Bank Stadium to cheer on his teammates. Ahead of the game, Cousins, who was accompanied by his son Cooper surprised everyone. He soon removed his jacket and revealed his famous gold chains which was followed by a a massive “SKOL” chant and blew the venue’s Gjallarhorn.

Fans react

Fans were delighted to see the support towards his team. Here is how the fans reacted:

@CYBERTRCK: “complete with the chain on 😭😂”

@Dzeever: “Go on shirtless Kirk”

@ukusaNFL: “Didn’t think I’d be seeing a shirtless Kirk Cousins tonight”

@Mortezabihzadeh: “Such an amazing vibe”

@palminvesting: “What an absolute beauty”

In the end, The Packers thrashed the Vikings as the rivals from Green Bay emerged victorious with 33-10 outcome in Minneapolis. The Vikings (7-9) can still make the playoffs by winning at Detroit next Sunday and getting a lot of help.

Due to their victory and the Seattle Seahawks’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier on Sunday, the Packers could ensure themselves a trip to the postseason by defeating the Chicago Bears next week. If they pull off the win, it would be a great accomplishment, especially in the first year of the post-Aaron Rodgers era, and after dealing withmajor injury blows throughout the season.
