Unified Welterweight Champion of the world Errol Spence Jr (28-0, 22 KOs) is having high hopes on stepping into the squared circle against fellow 147-pounder Terence Crawford (38-0, 29KOs) this year.

Errol Spence Jr vs Terence Crawford is one of the most anticipated fights in modern boxing. The bout, which will see Spence’s WBC, WBA (Super) and IBF titles up against Crawford’s WBO belt, will crown professional boxing’s new undisputed welterweight champion.

Both undefeated pugilists have been calling for an encounter for a long time but unfortunately, all the pieces are yet to fall into place. However at the  International Boxing Hall of Fame. last month, “Bud” stated that its Spence whom he is planning to take on up next.

“That’s the plan,” Crawford told The DAZN Boxing Show last month about facing Spence, “I think the time right now is the best time because it’s for all the marbles. Errol Spence has got three of the titles. I’ve got one. It would be for the undisputed. There wouldn’t be no other champion in the division.:
