Edge said: “I think when everything with Matt [Hardy] and [Lita], I didn’t enjoy any of that, that was hard. It was a position that I put myself in and thought okay, I made my bed, I just got to deal with this.”

The Rated-R Superstar revealed how they overcame the animosity and used the real life feud to their advantage. He also talked about the matches which turned out to be great as they were top in-ring competitors.

He added: “Then I thought okay, we’re here now, how can we pull a positive? Let’s make some money. That’s what we did, this is the situation, now let’s try and get something good out of this pretty lousy scenario, the matches were [good] though because I loved working with Matt.”

It is to be noted that the feud had been helpful to the stars to cement their status in the singles competition.

But, WWE Hall of Famer Lita got the worst of it as she had previously claimed she often receives backlash and held responsible for the controversy. She had also claimed getting called ‘double standard’.

Edge recently squared off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Sunday’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view but he was unsuccessful in dethroning The Tribal Chief.
