2021 has already gifted the global arm wrestling community one of the most anticipated and biggest matches in its history- the rematch between Devon Larratt and Michael Todd, which took place on 29th May at the Conrad Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, with Larratt winning the matchup. However, if you thought that was it for arm wrestling for this year, then you have been wrong because another stupendous matchup is on the works for the fans of the sport as Larratt is ready to be back on the table for the second time this year and this time, he will be up against one of the greatest arm wrestlers of all time- John Brzenk.

The match, billed as ‘King of the Table 2’, a successor to the King of the Table 1 event featuring Larratt and Todd will head for Dubai and it was revealed by none other than Larratt himself on his Instagram story, where he showed that the signed deal for the fight, as well as sharing another post by Puerto Rican arm wrestling fan account PulseoTV.

“For the next eight weeks, all that I will be thinking about is destroying him (Brzenk)” on the arm wrestling table,” Larratt stated in another subsequent story on Instagram, hinting that he will go all out against his next opponent.
Nonetheless, the Canadian showed utter respect for Brzenk, “and I know John’s great, I believe he’s the greatest.”
Officially named by the Guinness Book of World Records, as the “Greatest Armwrestler of All Time”, John Brzenk is a force of nature when it comes to the sport of arm wrestling. Nicknamed “The Golden Boy”, Brzenk is the reigning UAL Right-Handed Champion (Heavyweight Division) which he won in 2011 and was last seen in action in the World Armwrestling League where he defeated Larratt to become the Right-Handed Champion (Heavyweight Division) in 2015.
