Chris Jericho along with his band, Fozzy performed a show at Minot, North Dakota amid the pandemic. He had to face a lot criticism following that.
Chris Jericho tested 12 times for Covid-19
Chris Jericho had previously explained the reasons of holding the shows. He said the states of North and South Dakota had less Covid cases. The shows would be held in open space with half the capacity. The band members would be tested and the crowd would be handed masks. The temperature checks would be done as well.
They took the precautions for the show, as much as they could. But the venue had crowd in huge numbers. They were not abiding by the rules of social distancing. Many of them were seen without masks. But the fans certainly enjoyed the live event.
Fans started to send in a lot of tweets about the Fozzy member, Chris Jericho. They were furious about the incident and even urged the CEO of AEW, Tony Khan not to allow Jericho for AEW.

Here’s to hoping that Chris Jericho doesn’t bring the ‘rona with him from Sturgis and infect the entire AEW locker room.

Hey @TonyKhan you cannot by any means allow @IAmJericho at any @AEWrestling shows for 2 weeks if he's going to be playing freakin' Fozzy shows in venues like this tonight & tomorrow. It's irresponsible as hell & he needs to quarantine lest he put the whole company at risk. https://t.co/XgoWp7kKNs

AEW performs all the necessary tests before allowing the wrestlers for the show. Chris Jericho was allowed for August 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. “The Demo God” faced Orange Cassidy in a rematch after the former won the match at Fyter Fest. But unfortunately, after the interference of The Inner Circle and Best Friends, Chris Jericho had to face defeat.
Chris Jericho joined AEW in 2019. He had been the first AEW World Champion. He has won 36 Championships all across the globe in the promotions including the likes of WWE, NJPW and WCW. He holds the record of winning the Intercontinental Championship for 9 times during his time in WWE. He is the Fourth Grand Slam Champion and Ninth Triple Crown Champion.
Apart from wrestling, Jericho is the lead singer of the band, Fozzy. The band has total of seven studio albums and one live album.
Chris Jericho is undoubtedly one of the greatest performers in sports entertainment. Whether it’s in the squared circle or outside of it, he has excelled wherever he went.
