Chris Jericho’s band, Fozzy’s song ‘Judas’ is set to become gold record
The song ‘Judas’ was released back in 2017 by the band Fozzy, whose AEW star, Chris Jericho is a part of. It has become a hit song in the world of wrestling as well as for the outside.
Jericho recently had an interview with Sitting Ringside. During the conversation, he discussed the hit song, ‘Judas’ and talked about its achievement.
The former AEW World Champion revealed that the song will be tagged as a gold record in the next six months and achieving that feat in the present time is a great accomplishment.
Previously, the sale of the records used to matter, but in the age of digital platforms, it is now based on streams.
He said, “On iTunes, we are getting really close over probably the next 6 months where Judas is going to go gold. A gold record in this day and age is almost impossible. It’s not based on sales. A gold record before was based on 500,000 units for the song. Now it is based on 75 million streams.”
