The fight is also the first undisputed vs. undisputed clash in the four belt era of professional boxing, and the belts that will be up for grabs are Canelo’s WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF titles at super middleweight, revealed last Friday through the social networks of Canelo, Charlo as well as PBC, the promoter that made this fight possible.

In their announcement on Friday, Canelo, Charlo and PBC reported that the clash would be in Las Vegas, leaving the exact site of the clash pending, but on the official page of the T-Mobile Arena, it already appears as official, that the confrontation will be there, but with pending ticket sales.

Thus, in a matter of weeks, that venue will have two big brawls. First on July 29 Crawford vs. Errol Spence for the undisputed welterweight crown and on September 30 Canelo vs. Charlo, who coincidentally also has undisputed records involved.

With this fight at T-Mobile in Las Vegas, Canelo will total eight appearances in one of the most modern places and with great events. His story at the grand venue began with Amir Khan in May 2016 and the last one was Gennady Golovkin in September last year, both of which he won. But it was also the place where he stumbled in the light heavyweight contest against Dmitry Bivol in May 2022 in a shot at the Russian’s WBA belt at 175.
