It is no secret that the former WWE star Bray Wyatt has grabbed the opportunities he got and made the most of it during his stint in the company. The former WWE Universal Champion is no longer with the company and the release came upon as a huge shocker. He was one of the company’s biggest stars. Now, the former WWE star EC3 recently spoke about the creative direction of Bray Wyatt in WWE and heavily criticized how Bray Wyatt dropped the WWE Universal Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg at WWE’s Saudi Arabia event Super ShowDown last year.
EC3 stopped loving pro-wrestling after Bray Wyatt lost the match
Bray Wyatt achieved a lot while being in ‘The Fiend’ persona. He avenged past rivals like Finn Balor and Daniel Bryan. He even won the Universal Championship twice as The Fiend. He won the cinematic Firefly Fun House Match against John Cena at WrestleMania 36.The next year he lost to Randy Orton at WrestleMania and was never seen again.
While speaking to Wrestling Inc, EC3 opened up about Wyatt’s time in WWE. He spoke about how brilliant he is. He recalled watching him from the days of FCW and he revealed ‘The Eater of the Worlds’ was one of the talents who inspired the ‘Control Your Narrative’ movement.
EC3 reflected on WWE’s booking of The Fiend against Goldberg. Here is what he said:
“I’m like, this is amazing, and then I remember, I would call this the day wrestling died for me, I wasn’t even there, when he just got beat by Goldberg. I’ve watched this man work so hard, and be so unique, and be so creative, and do so many different things, and take it upon himself developing something so special, to have it just thrown away by someone’s decision. That’s where Control Your Narrative came from. Tell your story within the narrative.”
There is no word which promotion Bray Wyatt will join next and fans are eagerly waiting to witness him back inside the squared circle. We will see what is next for him in the pro-wrestling industry.
