A close source of Brad Pitt has claimed that through the recent resurrection of the 2016 airplane incident, Angelina Jolie is trying to inflict the maximum amount of pain on her former spouse.
According to PEOPLE, the source states that Brad Pitt believes his ex-wife Angelina Jolie embarking to hurt him by sharing details publicly about the famous 2016 airplace altercation incident which resulted in their split.
PEOPLE acquired the censored FBI report this year previously that Jolie anonymously put forward a Freedom of Information Act request. The 47-year-old actress accused authorities that Pitt who at the same time was drunk, imperiled her and their six kids on 14th September 2016 on a flight from France to Los Angeles. The investigation ended by the month of November and no charges were trailed.
A source close to Pitt asserts that for six years the former couple have had the documents in question, and Jolie likely meant to “revive an issue that was painful for everybody and was resolved six years ago.”
“They investigated it. They prepared materials, reviewed it together and decided not to charge him,” the source further added, “What are the motivations of a person to take up court time and public resources in filing an anonymous FOIA request for material they have had for years? There’s only one: to inflict the most amount of pain on her ex. There is no benefit to this. It is harmful to the children and the entire family for this to be made public.”
Jolie had alleged to the FBI that Pitt grabbed, pushed and shouted at her on the plane, this behavior frightened her and their kids. Both of them reported injuries, and there was $25,000 of damage done to the private jet as claimed by the actress.
Back in 2019, Pitt and Jolie were announced single legally. The former couple have six children: Maddox (21), Pax (18), Zahara (17), Shiloh (16), and 14-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The custody battle remained to continue.
The 58-year-old actor’s source adds that the actor is “generally in a good headspace considering the frustrations around these circumstances.”
“It’s wave after wave of attempts to hurt him. He has remained virtually completely silent other than to acknowledge things he could do better. He has remained silent on this issue because he knows that’s the best thing for his kids, what’s best for everybody. He has maintained that stance despite a never-ending barrage of attacks and attempts made to use the courts against him,” it concluded.
