The Celtics started the game strong, leading 23-12 after the first quarter despite missing 10 of their first 11 shots. They continued their dominance in the second quarter, extending their lead to 45-35 at halftime. The real turning point came in the third quarter when Boston went on a 24-3 run, outscoring Toronto 45-18 and leading 87-51 entering the fourth quarter.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Payton Pritchard came off the bench to score 19 points, including 5 of 8 from 3-point range.
