Bayley opens up on why she felt like an outcast in the group
The members of The Four Horsewomen stable have had a glittering career till date following their main roster debut. They have held several titles in the women’s division and also achieved personal accolades.
However, during the podcast Bayley expressed that she was the outcast in the group as the other members were close to each other.
The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion said that Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair were very close and Becky Lynch had also joined them and travelled together. She also recalled NXT TakeOver Brooklyn show and said that Banks and her had become closer.
She said: “I was kind of like the outcast because Sasha was very close with Charlotte, and they would travel together all the time, and then she got very close with Becky, and then they travelled together all the time.“
She added: “But I was never very close with any of them, you know, until maybe like, obviously when we started doing the [NXT TakeOver] Brooklyn stuff, but then Sasha and I started getting closer and closer. We were always super close, text all the time, but when it came to traveling and outside of that stuff, I was never like that with Charlotte or Becky.”
Bayley felt she could outlast them all as she was ‘super different’ than them. She also spoke about looking at herself differently and considering her the best. She said, “I guess I just saw myself differently because I had a different style, I guess. And in my own head, I just had to keep believing that I’m the best one.”
The group name was given to pay tribute to The Four Horsewomen of the UFC and The Four Horsemen, which comprised of Ric Flair, the wrestling icon and father of Charlotte Flair. The group formed during their time in NXT and the original four members of the group came up to the main roster together.
