Paris Saint-Germain Women midfielder Aminata Diallo has been arrested after being accused of hiring a couple of goons to brutally attack and injure team-mate Kheira Hamraoui. Diallo and Hamraoui are also the teammates for France and they play in the midfield position. It is needless to say they have a huge competition in the squad and it is believed that Aminata Diallo planned the attack to put her teammate out of action. The incident took place on November 4 when Diallo was driving Hamraoui, 31, residence from a staff meal organized for the gamers at a restaurant.

As per the reports of L’Equipe, two masked men who were armed with iron bars took Hamraoui out of the automotive and attacked her. One of the men reportedly hit Hamraoui within the legs multiple times. The attack lasted for a couple of minutes earlier than each men fled.
Hamraoui was then taken to hospital and she was given stitches in her legs and fingers. She was also unable to participate in PSG’s Champions League recreation with Real Madrid on Tuesday while Diallo began the match.
The club has confirmed Diallo has been taken into custody. In an assertion, they mentioned:
“Paris Saint-Germain takes note of the police custody this morning of Aminata Diallo by the Versailles SRPJ as part of the procedure opened following an assault on Thursday last night against club players.
Paris Saint-Germain strongly condemns the violence committed. Since Thursday evening November 4, the club has taken all the necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of its players.”

Kheira Hamraoui had joined PSG in the summer after parting ways with the UEFA Champions League winners FC Barcelona.
She was re-called to the France squad after a two-year absence for their 2023 World Cup qualifying matches final month however had to withdraw after she sustained calf injury, with Diallo known as up in her place.
