AEW star couple Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian have made the much-awaited announcement of their wedding on the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. They have been teasing that for months now.
Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian announce the wedding date
On the latest edition of Dynamite, Ford and Sabian announced their wedding officially in presence of Sabian’s Best Man, Miro. The couple is set to tie the knot on AEW Dynamite Beach Break edition on February 3. Interestingly, Sabian had also proposed to Ford on a beach and thus the venue of their wedding makes sense.
The segment saw veteran commentator, Tony Schavione on the stage and interviewing the couple.He asked them to share their thoughts on their wedding. Miro was also alongside them. Last week, the Best Friends and Orange Cassidy had teased about ruining the wedding announcement.
But Miro and Kip Sabian took things in their own hands and took them out before the announcement. The Best Friends’ music had hit during the segment but it was a fake one.
Following that a video aired that showed Trent being put in an ambulance with Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy, which was the result of an assault by Miro and Kip Sabian.

The couple have been teasing the wedding announcement for a long time. Previously, Kip Sabian had introduced his Best Man for the wedding which was revealed to be Miro and it was the very first time he had made an appearance in AEW.

Sabian had joined AEW back in 2019, making his debut at Double or Nothing pay-per-view had competed in AEW’s first-ever singles bout against Sammy Guevara and emerged victorious.
He was then paired with his real-life girlfriend Penelope Ford and was involved in a feud with Joey Janela. Sabian has been a part of the tag-team with Jimmy Havoc known as The Superbad Squad and competed against the likes of SCU, Kenny Omega & “Hangman” Adam Page but it was disbanded after Havoc was released.
Whereas, Ford joined the promotion in 2019 as well and eventually got a shot at AEW Women’s World Championship against Hikaru Shida at Fyter Fest but lost the bout.
This would be the second wedding set to take place on TNT, first being in WCW when David Flair and Miss Hancock(Stacy Keibler) tied the knot on Nitro in 2000.
