Naomi makes her grand return to WWE and Bayley is set to face Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40
Former WWE women’s champion Naomi, also known as Trinity Fatu, recently made a blockbuster return to WWE at the Royal Rumble 2024. She had left the company in 2022 and briefly signed with TNA before returning.
In her return, Naomi expressed excitement about being back and mentioned her readiness to work her way up the ranks and potentially re-enter the championship picture. She highlighted the presence of new faces on the roster and emphasized her focus on “glowing” before pursuing championship goals.
“She’s a legend.”

Bayley recently won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble. Frustrated by her Damage CTRL allies mocking her, Bayley retaliated when attacked by WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky, Asuka, and Kairi Sane at WrestleMania. Bayley fought back using a steel pipe and, as a result, announced her intention to challenge Sky for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.
A story that started two years ago, where everything seemed promising and it ended up in Bayley getting kicked of her own faction.

Former WWE Superstar Mercedes Monè, formerly known as Sasha Banks, is rumored to make her AEW debut on March 13, 2024, during Dynamite: Big Business at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
Monè has been dropping hints about her potential AEW debut on social media, with her latest tease coming in the form of a meme shared on her Instagram story that reads, “see yall in march.” Mercedes Monè’s last match was at NJPW Resurgence against Willow Nightingale, where she suffered an ankle injury, leading to a hiatus from wrestling.
Britt Baker is a prominent figure in the AEW. She is the inaugural AEW Women’s champion. Since 2023, Baker wrestled fewer matches, taking a backseat to other AEW talent, and participated in fewer major women’s storylines. Furthermore, Baker has been dealing with persistent back injuries for months, which contributed to her reduced role in AEW.
The Super Bowl LVIII turned out to be a disappointing night for Naomi, Mone, and Bayley as they sported the 49ers merch, signifying support for the franchise. The 49ers lost 25-22 to the Chiefs in a tight contest that led to overtime after being tied at 19-19, the second time in Super Bowl history.
