Ahead of their upcoming fight targeted in April, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s recent approaches towards interim champion Dillian Whyte is a clear indicator that the brusque Briton is aiming to fire up a rivalry with his fellow compatriot and has been issuing some heated words at Whyte. In a recent clip on Twitter, Fury has sent out a warning to Whyte, calling him ‘White Feathers’ and asking him to come out of hiding.

Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte, which is targeted for 23rd April won a record $40 million purse bid. The purse bid was won jointly by Top Rank and Queensbury Promotions, with Top Rank president Todd duBoef revealing 23rd April to be the targeted date for the fight, which will take place on English soil. Even though a venue has not been confirmed yet, Queensbury Promotion chief Frank Warren has named Wembley Stadium in London, capable of holding 80k spectators, as a possible choice.

You’ve gone silent, you little b***: Tyson Fury calls out Dillian Whyte

In an all-English affair on English soil, the fight is anticipated to be one of the biggest of the year, as well as the next chapter in Fury’s boxing career after a prolonged rivalry with Deontay Wilder which ended with a trilogy fight in October last year. “The Gypsy King”, who is known for his pre-fight taunts of his opponents, recently told Whyte that he was going to deliver a KO on the fight date, has taken to Twitter once again to spice things up even more. “This is a message for Dillian Whyte,” Fury said in the 45-second clip, “White Feathers, coward – where are you White Feathers! You wanted your world title shot with Wilder for three years; you never got it.”

“You was mandatory for me for three minutes, and you got your fight, didn’t you, coward? ‘Tyson Fury’s a coward; he doesn’t want to fight Dillian Whyte!’ But all of a sudden, you are on your toes, and you’ve gone silent, you little b***! Come out, come out of hiding, White Feathers! Come and get it; you’re getting a good hiding.”

“You wanted a bit of free money, didn’t you, dosser? But now you’re getting $8 million, which is $7-and-a-half too much for you, you old dosser. Come out and say something, bum!” Fury added. [H/T BoxingNews24.com]
