Connor Zilisch Earns First ARCA Win at Dover
In the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 at Dover Motor Speedway, 17-year-old phenom Connor Zilisch emerged victorious for the first ARCA victory of his blossoming career. The race was marked by a series of wrecks that eliminated numerous contenders, making Zilisch’s win even more impressive.
The final restart proved crucial. Leader Sawalich made contact with Zilisch, who had worked his way through the field. Zilisch capitalized on the opportunity and secured his first career ARCA win.
Points leader Christian Rose hit the wall off turn 4 due to an apparent tire failure. Amber Balcaen also got caught up in the incident but emerged unhurt.
