Deep trouble for the French Giants as three Paris Saint Germain(PSG) players, Neymar, Di Maria, Paredes have been tested Covid-19 positive. The news has been reported by L’Equipe. However, the news has not been confirmed by the players.
PSG players in dire straits
PSG went to their maiden Champions League final but were defeated in the match by the German juggernauts, Bayern Munich. It was a narrow escape as the Germans managed to clinch the victory with 1-0. They lifted their sixth Champions League trophy.
PSG’s hard luck continues as three players have been tested Covid positive.Neymar, Angel Di MarÃa and Leandro Paredes went on vacation in Ibiza after finishing the 2019/20 campaign. The players underwent Sars CoV2 tests and the results are reportedly positive on Wednesday. The club also announced that two players have been tested positive and are in self-isolation.
The Ligue 1 Champions’ Twitter page tweeted, “Three @PSG_inside players are confirmed positive on the Sars CoV2 test and undergo the appropriate health protocol. All players and staff will continue to test for the next few days.”
