This is Nikki’s first child, with fiance dancer Artem Chigvintsev. Nikki’s wish to have a child and ex-fiance John Cena’s constant refusals led to their breakup, as seen through the Total Bellas reality show.

This is Brie’s second child with multiple times WWE champion and technical classisist of the ring: Daniel Bryan, the first being daughter Birdie Joe Danielson.

The Bella Twins are scheduled to be inducted into the WWE HoF

While WWE’s advocacy of The Bella Twins as company legends is controversial and unwanted to some fans, they sure had their share of interesting moments in the ring. The most astounding of them was Twin Magic, a manuevre they used to replace the tired sister in the ring, thus providing them with an unfair advantage over their opponent. In fact, twin magic was used as a plot device for Brie until it resulted in the debut of Nikki. WWE has recognised The Bella Twins “as having helped to usher in what became known as the ‘Women’s Revolution’ in WWE”, where the company gave more TV time and higher-profile storylines to its top female performers.

In March 2019, Bella Twins announced their retirement from in-ring competition, Brie making the announcement on the March 10 episode and Nikki announcing her retirement on the season finale on March 24. Their last shining point was Ronda Rousey’s match against a villianous Nikki Bella for the Raw Women’s Champion, where Nikki lost after a valiant effort.

The sisters were announced to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, alongside legends such as the Puroresu icon Jushin Thunder Liger, Batista and JBL, among others. The ceremony, traditionally held the night before Wrestlemania, was cancelled, alongside the entire Wrestlemania weekend activities, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
