Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) is ready to channel his inner Muhammad Ali as he prepares for his upcoming fight against Shawn Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs) on 20th November, ordered by the World Boxing Organization back in July. The WBO welterweight champion, who is set to defend his title against ‘Showtime’ Porter for the fifth time at Michelob Ultra Arena in Paradise, Nevada, has the perfect way of describing how amazing he will be against Porter, quoting none other than ‘The Greatest’.
Terence Crawford will be returning to the squared circle after a hiatus of one year, since defending his WBO belt last time against Kell Brook on 14th November last year in Las Vegas.
Terence Crawford to show the world his greatness against Shawn Porter
Porter, the former WBC welterweight champion who also held the IBF belt, was last seen in action against Sebastian Formella on 22nd August last year at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, winning the WBC Silver belt.
While the boxing fandom might be split on who will walk out as the winner on 20th November, Crawford is confident on marking his fifth successful title defense and even referred to boxing’s greatest, Muhammad Ali.
One of the most famous statements from Ali, “Imma show you how great I am” is one of the most hallmark quotes in not only boxing, but in the entire sports scene in general. Referring to the same, ‘Bud’ implied that the world will also see his greatness this 20th November.
“What Ali say? “Ima show you how great I am” November 20th the world will see,” Crawford tweeted.

Meanwhile, famous boxing commentator Max Kellerman, while applauding Terence Crawford, said that taking down Shawn Porter will not be an easy task.
“Shawn Porter is all fighter. Everything he said about himself is true. There’s no such thing as more heart than this guy,” Kellerman said on Max on Boxing.
“There is no guarantee, just because Crawford is considered the better fighter and I consider him the better fighter too, that he needs Shawn Porter. Beating Shawn Porter is a tall order for anyone in the world. This is a great fight,” Kellerman added. [H/T Boxing News 24]
