Recently, ‘The F1 Journal’ shared a video of the crash between the #9 and #25 car on the X. While overtaking Dunne, Tsolov swerved towards him. This maneuver came after Dunne had momentarily impeded Tsolov’s lap. Unfortunately, the swerve resulted in contact between their cars, causing Dunne’s vehicle to collide with the wall on the inside.
As a result, the stewards handed Tsolov a three-place grid penalty for this incident. Additionally, he received two license penalty points.  Tsolov claimed that he wanted to make Dunne aware of his presence after being impeded by car #9 (Dunne). However, the stewards found that the swerve itself was an act of retaliation. Interestingly, Sebastian Vettel faced a harsher penalty in the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix for driving alongside and steering into Lewis Hamilton before a safety car restart.
A collision between Nikola Tsolov and Alex Dunne ignites a labyrinth of speculation
In the Australian Grand Prix, during an F3 practice session, the air crackled with tension. Nikola Tsolov, Fernando Alonso’s apprentice, and Alex Dunne, an Irish rookie, were entangled in a fierce duel. Tsolov, fueled by frustration, executed an incredibly dangerous move—a deliberate swerve that sent Dunne’s car careening toward the barrier. The impact reverberated through the paddock, leaving fans bewildered. Was it retaliation? A lapse in judgment? Or perhaps a deeper rivalry simmering beneath the surface?
