Me’Arah O’Neal is set to follow in her father’s footsteps by starring in the McDonald All American game this season just like her father Shaquille O’Neal did in 1989. Shaq welcomed his daughter to the opening segment of TNT’s Inside the NBA, to celebrate her being named a 2024 McDonald’s All-American for her on-field accolades.

First of all, I just wanted to say I’m so proud of you and I love you,” O’Neal said. “I wanted to present you with this.” Shaquille O’Neal said.

Shaq was visibly proud of his daughter and was truly cherishing the moment. As Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and host Adam Lefkoe watched from the background O’Neal unveiled Me’Arah’s All-American jersey. But the show did not end there Me’Ara went on to impress her father even more by executing a perfect 3-pointer on the set.

Shaquille O’Neal and Papa Johns to depart ways

Shaquille O’Neal has proved to be the perfect advisor and dad for his daughter but it seems like his marketable father figure is no longer working. Shaq’s relationship with Papa John is coming to an end as in May, Shaquille O’Neal will finish his term on the board of directors of Papa Johns, and O’Neal has no plans to seek re-election.

Papa Johns opened up about Shaqs departure in an official announcement, Shaquille O’Neal too confirmed that he will no longer be a part of the popular fast-food pizza chain.

“While my other business commitments make it challenging to extend my board service for another term, I am looking forward to continuing my partnership with Papa Johns, a brand I’ve loved since my days playing basketball at LSU,” said O’Neal in the statement.

“I am grateful for the valuable experience I gained on the Papa Johns Board and am proud to have played a role in making the company culture into what it is today, including being recognized as a best employer for diversity three years in a row.”
