American former professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal has disclosed that he is curious about the theory of Flat Earth conspiracy. He shed light on the Flat Earth theory by his comments after taking a flight from the United States to Australia.

On Wednesday, the NBA legend said he ‘likes listening’ to scientific theories that the Earth is flat, and acknowledged that he is still not sure if the planet is actually revolving.

During an appearance on The Kylie & Jackie O Show, the 50-year-old NBA legend was asked about the comments he made earlier about the conspiracy theory were a “joke” or if he believe the concept to be real.

“If we’re spinning so fast, why are we dizzy?” says Shaquille O’Neal

According to PEOPLE, the Lakers legend made an oblique movement with his arms at that point. On his appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia O’Neal said: “It’s a theory. It’s just a theory, they teach us a lot of things. I flew 20 hours today, not once did I go this way, I flew straight.”

Further, he said the lack of tipping over or going “upside down” at the time on the plane is an additional piece of support. Then he trips on the topic of the Earth spinning, it seems for which he is also having an explanation.

O’Neal added: “You know they say the world is spinning? I’ve been living on a house on a lake for 30 years, not once did the lake rotate to the left or right. If we’re spinning so fast, why are we dizzy?”

Eventually, O’Neal does not say that he completely believes any of these things in his heart.  It’s a theory and it’s just that, for him. As per the former Laker, there’s entertainment to it.

Although this is not the first time in an interview he has discussed flat Earth theory with mankind added PEOPLE.

In 2017, during an episode of The Big Podcast With Shaq, he stated that the truth is “the Earth is flat.”

The NBA legend said: “Listen, there are three ways to manipulate the mind – what you read, what you see and what you hear. In school, first thing they teach us is, ‘Oh, Columbus discovered America,’ but when he got there, there were some fair-skinned people with the long hair smoking on the peace pipes. So, what does that tell you? Columbus didn’t discover America,” the NBA legend said.

“I drive from coast to coast, and this s— is flat to me. I’m just saying. I drive from Florida to California all the time, and it’s flat to me. I do not go up and down at a 360-degree angle, and all that stuff about gravity, have you looked outside Atlanta lately and seen all these buildings? You mean to tell me that China is under us? China is under us? It’s not. The world is flat.”
