Shaq O’Neal thinks it is time to put Steph Curry as the “best player of all time “

Shaq O’Neal thinks that it is time to start considering Steph Curry as one of  the best Basketball player of all time. Curry’s recent performances are making fans think the same. Steph Curry carried his team The Golden State Warriors to victory Against the Boston Celtics at the Chase Center. He was in a destructive form throughout the game.  

He helped the Warriors pull off a thrilling overtime victory 132 – 126. At 35 years old, Steph Curry has been averaging 28.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 44.4 assists, and 4.8 3-pointers in 24 games into the 2023-24 NBA season. This incredible form can easily book him a place among the goats of the game according to O’Neal.

“I’m just wondering, I’m not saying but wondering… ‘cause he’s been consistently the best shooter his whole career. I’m wondering, is it time to put him as the best player of all time?”.

Shaq O’Neal shared his thoughts in a conversation with Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith 

Smith wanted to know if Shaq would put Curry above himself as well. “Yes…I’m asking the fans, is it time to start putting him in the conversation as one of the best players ever.” Shaq replied. 

He added “I’ve played 20 years and watched 20 years before that. I’ve never seen a guy like him and he is doing it consistently and he has championships,” said Shaq.

In the past, Shaq and Curry were involved in a banter over which team is better.

Steph Curry’s brilliant form earns him praise from Draymond Green  

With 15.8 seconds to go against the Boston Celtics, Curry made a three-point basket that sealed the game. He totaled 33 points, six three-pointers, six assists, and three rebounds to lead the Warriors. This got the former NBA defensive player of the year Draymond Green praise Curry. Green is serving an indefinite suspension by the league for swinging at Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic. Green tweeted “GOAT activity tonight 30”.
