Ryan Garcia has dismissed the claims made by boxing promoter Eddie Hearn about him moving away from Golden Boy Promotions and planning to join PBC, adding that he hasn’t spoken up on any possible move yet.

Garcia’s legal team recently sent Golden Boy Promotions a letter notifying various breaches of contract and summoned the company to a mediation process to resolve the differences. But Golden Boy responded by going a step further and suing Garcia’s team for breach of contract.
And Eddie Hearn thinks that this maneuver by Garcia’s legal team is because the fighter has already decided that he wants to leave Golden Boy and that he already has in mind which company he wants to belong to.
“Ryan Garcia clearly wants to leave Golden Boy Promotions. He’s gone. He’s made his move. They have made their decisions about what they want to do and it’s not Matchroom. Yes, absolutely, [it’s PBC],” Hearn told DAZN Boxing Show. [H/T Boxing Social]
Upon hearing the statements from Hearn, Garcia took to Twitter to respond, asking Hearn’s motive for making the claims, adding that from anywhere the promoter had gotten the air about “KingRy” making a move, might just be inaccurate.
“Just throwing this out there, but why would Eddie [Hearn] say this? I’ve never spoken about any move yet. He might have heard from someone that wasn’t accurate,” Garcia wrote on Twitter.
