Russian model Irina Shayk has decided to break the silence regarding the recent rumor about “throwing herself” at NFL icon Tom Brady.
Last week, a report from Page Six cited that Shayk, who met Brady at a mutual friend’s wedding ceremony in Italy, made “a beeline” for the recently-divorced seven time Super Boel champion, further claiming that the model “followed [Brady] around all weekend” and that she was “throwing herself at him.” The report also cited that Brady “wasn’t interested”.

The response to the rumors comes not from Shayk directly, but Cheri Bowen- her rep and vice president of The Society Management, who told The Daily Mail that the claims are “malicious” and “fictional”.
“This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the evening,” said Bowen. A source had also told The Daily Mail that the two “have a purely platonic relationship.”
Tom Brady and Irina Shayk, alongside names such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Serena and Venus Williams, Miami nightlife guru David Grutman and auctioneer Simon de Pury and many more, were guests at the wedding of Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick which took place at Costa Smeralda in northern Sardinia, Italy.
Brady, who retired from the NFL in February, announced his divorce from Gisele Bündchen back in October last year, following a marriage life of 13 years and two kids.
“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” the 45-year-old had said back then. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
