Ryan Garcia has challenged Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz to a showdown, but will only fight him if Cruz agrees to the one condition Garcia has set up- Cruz has to move up to super lightweight.
On Tuesday, Garcia took to Twitter to mention the three rivals he wants to face next- Rolando “Rolly” Romero, Teófimo López, and Cruz.
Amidst the three, Romero had recently challenged Garcia, who nodded to fight at 140, but the WBA champion was recently ordered to face mandatory Ohara Davies by the governing body.
López, on the other hand, Garcia will be waiting on how he performs against Josh Taylor on 10th June, leaving the third option- Cruz, “KingRy” wants to jump up to 140 in order for the showdown.
“3 people I want to fight next 🥊”
“Rollies *they just ordered for him to fight someone’s else”
“Isaac Cruz *if he’s willing to go to 140”
“Teofimo López *depending on outcome (of his fight with Josh Taylor on June 10)” tweeted Garcia.

Ryan Garcia wants Pitbull Cruz at 140- but will Cruz move up?
Following his defeat against Gervonta Davis last month, Garcia announced that he is leaving 135 pounds and moving up to super lightweight before the difficulties that weight already represented. However, there isn’t much rivalry for Garcia at 140 like there was at lightweight.
On the other hand, Pitbull Cruz has expressed his desire to stay at lightweight, where he is looking for a rematch fight against “Tank” Davis. and he doesn’t seem willing to move up in weight.
