RJ Davis’ Scoring Prowess Takes Center Stage

RJ Davis has emerged as a scoring machine for UNC this season. The 6-foot-6 guard is averaging a career-high 16.8 points per game, showcasing his ability to create his own shot and knock down crucial three-pointers. During the NCAA Tournament, Davis has elevated his game even further, averaging an impressive 20.3 points per contest. His clutch performances in the second round against Marquette and the Sweet Sixteen against UCLA were pivotal in propelling the Tar Heels to victory

Armando Bacot, a force to be reckoned with down low, has been a defensive anchor for UNC all season. The 6-foot-11 senior leads the team in rebounding with an average of 13.5 boards per game, and his intimidating presence in the paint disrupts opposing offenses. In the NCAA Tournament, Bacot has been a double-double machine, averaging 16.3 points and 16.5 rebounds per game. His dominance on the boards has been a significant factor in the Tar Heels’ ability to control the tempo and outlast their opponents.
