Rick Ross rushed out to his front lawn amidst the wailing of fire truck sirens and helicopters monitoring the state of the situation. He captured the fire trucks working to stop the fire from spreading and controlling the flames, as commented “the smoke is getting thicker and thicker“. The fire was mostly limited to the attic and roof, as per Davie Fire Rescue’s Bob Taylor. Rick Ross believes that the cause of the fire was an electrical disturbance. The fire department has, however, claimed that the cause is unknown.

Hill and his family, which includes his mother, his wife, and 2 children, were captured outside the house in an unharmed state as they watched the firefighters do their best to extinguish the flames and clear the smoke.

Miami Dolphins released a statement expressing the incident stating “Tyreek has been in communication with his family. Everyone is out of the house and safe at this time. He has also left practice to deal with the situation.”

Tyreek Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus spoke to the local media as he confirmed everyone is safe. He stated “Tyreek and his family were handling it with as much poise as you could hope. He was very grateful to the firefighters and everyone who did indeed save his home.” He wants Hill to be left out of this conversation as he further added “At this time, he’s not gonna comment. He would like everyone to respect his privacy.”

Tyreek Hill purchased the mansion in 2022 for $6.9 million when he joined the Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs in a trade. He signed a contract extension for $120 million, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league.
