The 2023–24 Formula One Sim Racing World Championship brought forth the seventh season of the Formula One Esports Series, officially dubbed the “Formula One Sim Racing Championship” for the first time. This season, the competition unfolded on Formula One’s official 2023 game, showcasing all ten teams from the real-life sport.
Red Bull’s driver lineup for the 2023/2024 season boasted a blend of seasoned veterans and promising talents. Among them was Frede Rasmussen, a well-known figure in the sim racing community, who returned with unwavering determination after narrowly missing out on the Drivers’ Championship in the previous year.

Representing Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing, Frederik Rasmussen emerged as the standout performer of the season. Despite finishing as the runner-up in the standings for four consecutive seasons, Rasmussen finally clinched the Driver’s Championship, marking a significant milestone in his career. His consistent performances throughout the season, coupled with intense battles against fellow drivers like Thomas Ronhaar and Bari Broumand, kept fans enthralled and on the edge of their seats, cementing his status as a true star of the virtual racing world.
Scuderia Ferrari Esports’ Historic Win
Bari Broumand, a key member of Scuderia Ferrari Esports, played an instrumental role in the team’s triumphant season. Ferrari’s victory in securing the Constructor’s Championship stood as a monumental achievement for the Italian powerhouse, marking their inaugural win in the virtual racing realm and further enriching their storied legacy in motorsport.
However, the defending champions, Lucas Blakeley and McLaren Shadow, encountered a formidable season. Despite their previous dominance, they faltered to secure any wins, slipping down the standings amidst intensified midfield competition, notably leaving McLaren Shadow outside the winner’s circle.
The Pro Championship, broadcast live across three LAN events, adhered to F1 regulations, including mandatory pit stops in dry weather conditions. Points accumulated throughout the season determined both the F1 Sim Racing World Championship Teams’ and Drivers’ World Champions, with a substantial prize fund of $750,000 heightening the stakes, making each race a crucial battle in the pursuit of virtual glory. Both teams Ferrari and Red Bull Racing have achieved great performance throughout the season.
