After multiple delays, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on 19th November. Unfortunately, just days the game hits the market, a famous predictor has hinted the unexpected- another massive delay that might postpone the release to next year.
Cyberpunk 2077 and delay- the two words have become almost synonymous in the present-day global gaming scene. Polish developer CD Projekt Red, revered for the highly acclaimed The Witcher trilogy, has delved into the sci-fi-steampunk genre for their upcoming AAA title, the much anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
Even six years after its announcement back in 2013, the game has been plagued with multiple delays pushing the release date further and further. From its original scheduled launch on 16th April 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was first delayed to 17th September, then to 19th November and followed by a third delay to 10th December.
As the game had ‘gone gold’ (production of physical copies) recently, the latest delay generated a massive uproar among the fanbase and some of them even threatened the developers on social media.

Leaker who made correct predictions before hints further Cyberpunk 2077 delay
However, the latest woe comes from a renowned leaker named “Tiffany Treadmore Inc.” on Twitter and checking their track record, the claim does have some weight to it.
The same Twitter account previously made correct predictions about the cancellation of E3 2020 before it was officially announced. Moreover, they also revealed the existence of Half-Life Alyx, which also turned out to be true as the developers Valve announced the game months later.
Now, they have dropped the bombshell about Cyberpunk 2077- hinting that the game may be delayed once again and may push the release date all the way into January 2021.
“I guess CDPR updated their profile yesterday to double down on December 10 after the rumor we heard went kind of nuts on a couple sites. Still not convinced. Hearing bad stuff internally that there will likely be another delay till January 2021,” the tweet read.
