Pearl Gonzalez, the Invicta FC strawweight contender and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) fighter is about to embark on a professional boxing career with Jorge Masvidal’s promotion ‘Gamebred Boxing’.

The mixed martial artist and bare knuckle boxer will be seen in action in the squared circle for the first time, as Gonzalez is set to take on fellow boxing debutant Danielle Wynn at Gamebred Boxing 2 event, which takes place at the Biloxi Civic Center in Biloxi, Mississippi this Friday night. The fight will stream on the UFC Fight Pass.

Gonzalez made two appearances in the UFC in 2017- at UFC 210 and UFC 216 against Cynthia Calvillo and Poliana Botelho respectively. After losing on both occasions, switched sides with Invicta FC, where she currently competes at strawweight and has also contested for the flyweight title once.
‘The Chi-Town Princess’ has a 4-2 record at Invicta FC and has recorded wins over Kali Robbins, Barbara Acioly, Daiane Firmino and Brogan Walker-Sanchez. Her last outing at Invicta saw Gonzalez going down against Miranda Maverick at Invicta FC 39 in February 2020.
Last year, she also entered bare knuckle boxing with BKFC and currently has a promotional record of 1-1. She marked her BKFC debut with a win over Charisa Sigala at BKFC 18 in June 2021, followed by a defeat against bare knuckle boxing star Britain Hart at BKFC 22 in November last year.
