Parker Retzlaff makes strong his comeback by maiden NASCAR pole after 2x DNFs in last 3 races

After 17-year-old Connor Zillisch secured the Truck Series Pole in his NASCAR Truck Series debut, another young talent in NASCAR claimed pole position for Jordan Anderson Racing in the ToyotaCare 250 Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway. Following his first-ever pole position, Parker Retzlaff opened up about his experience in the race.

Recently, Matt Weaver shared a post on X featuring Parker Retzlaff discussing his hopes after the pole position and his aspirations for stage points and the race trophy. When asked about the team’s speed this year, Retzlaff mentioned their consistent performance but also highlighted instances of bad luck, such as being wrecked early at Phoenix.

Despite challenges, Retzlaff expressed happiness in securing the pole position and hoped to maintain momentum moving forward. In the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro, Retzlaff recorded an impressive lap speed of 120.428 mph, securing his spot at the front of the grid.

The 2024 season has been a good one for the young driver, as he has already bagged two top-five finishes. entering at COTA, Parker Retzlaff secured an impressive fourth-place finish in the first stage. Parker Retzlaff continued to perform well, finishing in fourth place again.
