Jokic idolized Novak Djokovic from his childhood
Nikola Jokic idolized Novak Djokovic from his childhood and always wanted to be like the Serbian. Jokic fell in love with the tennis star after his global dominance in his sport and all the good work he was doing in the country through his foundation.
“I don’t have his number, to be honest, but he is the guy who represents Serbia in a much bigger scene. He is a Serbian ambassador. He’s really an idol to the kids in Serbia and not just on the court, but in the things his foundation is doing. He is the guy you can look up to, I want to be like him. He’s doing something great for kids, for Serbia, for everything. We cannot be compared,” Nikola Jokic said in a previous interview.
The Denver Nuggets are having a brilliant season and Nikola Jokic is magical as usual. The Denver Nuggets are currently seated at third position in the Western Conference with 42 wins in 61 games. They will be looking to continue their red-hot form against the Phoenix Suns on the 6th of March.
