Losses aren’t easy for anyone to digest, and NFL legend Tom Brady is no exception. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers icon had a moment of agitation when the defending champions suffered their worst performance of this season against New Orleans Saints last week and the seven time Super Bowl winner took out his frustration on a tablet by throwing it. However, the NFL has taken notice and has issued a warning on the veteran quarterback.
I can’t throw another Surface or else I get fined: Tom Brady
The Buccaneers were in for a surprise as they hosted the Saints on 19th December at the Raymond James Stadium. The visitors had pulled away to a 9-0 victory, with Brady failing to secure a single touchdown, despite 26/48 for 214 yards added with one interception. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were also injured during the game and they didn’t return to the pitch.
However, what made headlines was Brady throwing a Microsoft Surface tablet over the bitterness of sustaining the worst loss this season. Even though the league did not impose a fine on Brady for throwing the tablet, they did issue a warning that in case of 44-year-old repeats the gesture he will be fined
“I can’t throw another Surface or else I get fined. Imagine that. Imagine that,” Brady revealed to Jim Gray during a recent episode of the “Let’s Go!” podcast for SiriusXM, “I won’t throw another Surface. Although I think it was pretty good marketing for the Surface at the end of the day. I think it worked out pretty well for them.”

Meanwhile, Saints defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson found an opportunity to rub some salt on the wound, and trolled Brady for throwing the tablet, taking a dig at the Bucs headman by jokingly asking Microsoft to send him a new Surface that he wants to present to a friend who “broke” his one.
