German car manufacturer Audi is collaborating with subscription-based streaming service Netflix as the official automotive brand for the forthcoming action thriller movie “The Gray Man” starring Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans and Dhanush, which will be released on the streaming channel on 22nd July 2022 today.

A behind-the-scenes video illustrating the vehicles in action is unleashed by Audi and Netflix. The carmaker is advertised as the official motorized brand highlighted in the film.
The Audi models featured in The Gray Man are: the all-electric Audi RS e-tron GT driven by Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling), the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron driven by Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas), the Audi RS 7 Sportback during a chase sequence with Mirana, as well as the Audi R8 Coupe seen in a drive up sequence with Avik San (Dhanush).

“This cooperation made us feel action and high speed. Like the Russo brothers we at Audi are leveraging technology to create something unseen and unexperienced before,” said AUDI AG Head of Brand Henrik Wenders, “Audi worked with the directors Joe and Anthony Russo on selecting the new cars. It was fascinating to be partners on this film production and to work closely with Netflix.”
“As storytellers, we have always been very interested in finding and exploring new technologies to find new tools to do something no one has ever done before. That’s what excites us. That kind of approach I would apply to anything particularly to the evolution that’s happening with cars right now,” said director Anthony Russo.
As much as I love the cars of the past and today, I am certainly most interested in where cars are going tomorrow. Audi will apprise us with the story behind the Audi Q4 Sportback e-Tron in a computerized short film where the audience will acquire knowledge of how Agent Dani Miranda (played by De Armas) was first accustomed to her electric car.
