The sixth matchday of Week 8 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and its time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.
Suns 120 – 111 76ers
Phoenix Suns registered their fifth straight victory of this season, thrashing Philadelphia 76ers at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Devin Booker led the hosts with a score of 36, one point more than sixers’ Joel Embiid. Chris Paul added in his double-double of 18 points and 10 assists.
Hawks 113 – 125 Pacers
A 41-point final quarter broke Indiana Pacers ahead of Atlanta Hawks to finish their road trip with a victory at State Farm Arena.
Doug McDermott landed 26 points, while Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner both secured a double-double each.
Knicks 121 – 99 Rockets
A substantial lead in the first half kept New York Knicks comfortably ahead of Houston Rockets to cruise to a win at the Madison Square Garden.
Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley tied 22 points each to lead the hosts, along with Derrick Rose, coming off the bench, finished with a score of 16.
Warriors 117 – 134 Nets
Brooklyn Nets ticked all the right boxes in their first three-quarter dominations to outperform Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center, as well as marking their seventh 130-point score.
Kevin Durant returned with a score of 20, along with Kyrie Irving’s 23 and James Harden landing 19 points, 16 assists and 8 rebounds.
Jazz 112 – 94 Heat
With Q2 and Q3 scoring rallies, Utah Jazz marked their seventh consecutive win over Miami Heat at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Donovan Mitchell finished the night with another marvelous performance, scoring 26 points. Rudy Gobert clocked a double-double, landing 12 rebounds for 16 points.
