NBA Week 21 May 12 Results: Scores, standings, match summary, and highlights

The third matchday of Week 21 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Hawks 120 – 116 Wizards

Hawks picked up their second straight victory over Wizards, breaking away in the final quarter at the State Farm Arena.

Young finished with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists, while Clint Capela added his double-double.

Nets 128 – 116 Spurs

Nets cruised to their 46th win of this NBA season as they held off Spurs comfortably at the Barclays Center.

Shamet scored 18, while Harden returned with adding 18 points and 11 assists. Bruce Brown Jr posted 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Cavaliers 102 – 94 Celtics

Courtesy of a Q4 rally, Cavaliers broke their 11-game losing streak with an upset of Celtics at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Kevin Love finished with 30 points and 14 rebounds, while Sexton followed up with scoring 28. Tatum posted 29 for Celtics.

Mavericks 125 – 107 Pelicans

Doncic’s 33-point performance paddled Mavericks to a convincing victory over Zion Williamson-less Pelicans at the American Airlines Center.

Doncic added 8 rebounds and 8 assists as well, while Hardaway Jr scored 27. Hernangómez posted a double-double for the visitors.

Jazz 98 – 105 Trail Blazers

Trail Blazers clinched their fifth straight victory as they conquered Jazz with a win at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Lillard scored 30 points, while McCollum added 26. Nurkic posted a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Lakers 124 – 122 Rockets

Rockets were engaged in a neck to neck fight with the Lakers who finally managed to slip away with a narrow win at the Staples Center.

Kuzma, Drummond and Horton-Hucker all clocked double-doubles for the hosts. Kelly Olynyk scored 24 for the Rockets.
