The seventh matchday of Week 20 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Clippers 100-106 Knicks

New York Knicks took one step further into the NBA Playoffs with a marginal win over LA Clippers.

The Knicks returned back to winning ways at the Staples Center on the bank of a combined 49-point display by Derrick Rose and Reggie Bullock. Julius Randle recorded 14 rebounds for the win as well.

Kawhi Leonard top scored for the hosts with 29 points to his name, but in eventually wound up being in a losing cause.

Cavaliers 97-124 Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks clinched their 40th win of the season and gained a valuable lead at the fifth position over Portland Trailblazers.

Tim Hardaway Jr. top scored with 25 points to his name while Luka Doncic was ejected following a flagrant foul on Collin Sexton.

This marked the Cavaliers’ 10th successive loss as they marginally remain above the bottom spot in the Eastern Conference.

Hornets 110-112 Pelicans

The Ball Brothers faced off each other on the court and it was Lonzo Ball who ended up on the winning side by the slightest of margins.

Terry Rozier ran the show for the Hornets with a 43-point outing, but still ended up on the losing side.

The Pelicans secured a massive win in the race for a place in the play-in tournament without the duo of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.

Magic 96-128 Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves racked a thumping win over Orlando Magic at the Amway Center. Both the teams are already out of playoff contention and now have an identical record.

Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell registered 27 points each for the win.

Pistons 96-108 Bulls

Chicago Bulls kept themselves alive in the race with a vital win over bottom placed Detroit Pistons.

Nicola Vucevic and Zach LaVine ran the show at the Little Caesers Arena with 29 and 30 points respectively.

Kings 126-98 Thunder

Sacramento Kings keep hanging on as well with a thumping win over the struggling Oklahoma City Thunder.

In a high scoring exhibition for the Kings, no player scored over 18 points, making it an united effort in offence to claim the win.

Thunder have now lost all of their last seven games, making it the worst ongoing streak in the Western Conference.

Lakers 123-110 Suns

Los Angeles Lakers, currently in a bid to avoid the play-in tournament, executed a monumental win over Western Conference second seed Phoenix Suns.

The Lakers were led by a strong performance from Anthony Davis. The player, getting back onto his feet after an injury set the Staples Center ablaze with a scorching 42 point display.
