NBA Week 17 April 17 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The sixth matchday of Week 17 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Lakers 127 – 115 Jazz

Los Angeles Lakers’ challenge against the Western Conference leaders Utah Jazz progressed into overtime, when the hosts pulled away with a 12-point advantage to win the tie at Staples Center.

Andre Drummond scored 27 points and 8 rebounds, while both Dennis Schröder and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope landed 25 points each. Markieff Morris posted 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Wizards 121 – 100 Pistons

A stunning 30-plus performance from Bradley Beal along with Russell Westbrook’s triple-double routine to boost Washington Wizards over Detroit Pistons at the Capital One Arena.

Beal finished with 37 points, while Westbrook clocked 15 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists.

Bulls 106 – 96 Cavaliers

Three double-doubles weren’t enough to redeem the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers as they were defeated by Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Nikola Vucevic led the hosts with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, along with Lauri Markkanen’s score of 16.

Celtics 119 -114 Warriors

Jayson Tatum landed a stupendous 44-point performance to counter Stephen Curry’s 47 as Boston Celtics trounced Golden State Warriors at the TD Garden.

Tatum added 10 rebounds, while Kemba Walker scored 26 points with 8 rebounds. Marcus Smart posted 16 points and 9 rebounds off the bench.

Bucks 115 – 128 Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies overcame the double-doubles of Giannis and Khris Middleton to conquer the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.

Grayson Allen scored 26 for the visitors, added with Jonas Valančiūnas’ 17 points. Kyle Anderson finished with three figures of 8.

Suns 85 – 111 Spurs

San Antonio Spurs punched above to upset the conference heavyweights Phoenix Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Drew Eubanks scored 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Rudy Gay scored 19 off the bench. Jevon Carter led Suns with 17.
