NBA Week 16 April 8 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The fourth matchday of Week 16 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Raptors 113 – 122 Bulls

Despite a stunning 38-point performance from Chris Boucher, Toronto Raptors couldn’t hold off Chicago Bulls as the latter sealed a win at the Amalie Arena.

Both Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine scored 22 points with the latter adding 13 assists as well. Daniel Theis posted 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Heat 110 – 104 Lakers

The much anticipated clash between the 2020 NBA Finals finalists saw Miami Heat taking home a convincing victory over Los Angeles Lakers at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Jimmy Butler led the hosts with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, while Victor Oladipo scored 18. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 28 for the visitors.

Thunder 102 – 129 Cavaliers

Coming off of a win over Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers made good use of their confidence boost and stretched to a second straight win against Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Collin Sexton scored 27, along with Kevin Love landing 18 points and 11 rebounds. Taurean Prince scored 22 off the bench.

Mavericks 116 – 101 Bucks

Dallas Mavericks handed a major upset to a Giannis-less Milwaukee Bucks, with a final quarter scoring spree at the American Airlines Center.

Luka Dončić scored 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Kristaps Porziņģis posted 26 points and 17 rebounds.

Clippers 113 – 103 Suns

The clash between the two Western Conference toppers ended in winning ways for Los Angeles Clippers as they trounced Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center.

Paul George topped the scoreboard with 33, followed by Kawhi Leonard at 27 points. Devin Booker scored 24 points for the Suns.

Kings 101 – 113 Pistons

With a 35-point Q2, Detroit Pistons were on a massive lead into the second half and paddled to a win over Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center.

Cory Joseph scored 24, while 16 points and 13 rebounds came from Isaiah Stewart. De’Aaron Fox scored 23 for the hosts.

Jazz 122 – 103 Trail Blazers

After a neck to neck first half, Utah Jazz blasted away with a 40-point third quarter, outflanking Portland Trail Blazers to seal a victory at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Donovan Mitchell landed 37 points, while Rudy Gobert scored 18 points and 20 rebounds. Damian Lillard scored 23 for the Blazers.
