The third matchday of Week 16 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Magic 116 – 131 Wizards

Russell Westbrook shines once again with his third straight triple-double as Washington Wizards trounced Orlando Magic at the Amway Center.

Westbrook posted 23 points, 14 rebounds and 15 assists, while Bradley Beal secured 26 points for the visitors.

Pacers 141 – 137 Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves fell to their 39th defeat of this NBA season as Indiana Pacers edged them out at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Holiday siblings Justin and Aaron scored 21 and 22 respectively, while T. J. McConnell added 19 points and 15 assists.

Nets 139 – 111 Pelicans

Brooklyn Nets finished the first half with a 43-point Q2 to boost themselves over New Orleans Pelicans at the Barclays Center.

Kyrie Irving posted 24 points, two more than LaMarcus Aldridge. Kevin Durant contributed 17 points off the bench.

Celtics 101 – 99 Knicks

A neck to neck tussle between Boston Celtics and New York Knicks concluded in a close win for the hosts at the TD Garden.

Jaylen Brown scored 32 and Jayson Tatum landed 25 points, with both players posting 10 rebounds each.

Hawks 113 – 131 Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies are now on a 4 game winning streak with a comfortable win over Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena.

Grayson Allen led the visitors with 30 points, while Jonas Valančiūnas landed 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Rockets 102 – 93 Mavericks

After five defeats, the struggling Houston Rockets saw the face of victory as they thrashed Dallas Mavericks at the Toyota Center.

John Wall scored 31, while both Christian Wood and Kelly Olynyk scored landed a double-double each.

Thunder 102 – 113 Mavericks

With seven players scoring in double digits, Charlotte Hornets marked their 26th win of this NBA season as they outflanked Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Jalen McDaniels scored 21 points, along with 15 points and 14 rebounds coming from Cody Zeller.

Nuggets 106 – 96 Hornets

Although San Antonio Spurs took the lead in Q1, Denver Nuggets paced ahead to finish with a victory at the Ball Arena.

Nikola Jokić scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists, while Michael Porter Jr landed 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Suns 117 – 113 Jazz

The Western Conference heavyweights clashed at Talking Stick Resort Arena where Phoenix Suns edged out Utah Jazz in a nail biting overtime clash, despite Donovan Mitchell scoring 41 points for the visitors.

Devin Booker led the charge for Suns with 35 points, followed by Chris Paul scoring 29. Deandre Ayton posted 18 points and 12 rebounds.
