NBA Week 11 Mar 2 results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The second matchday of Week 11 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Wizards 111 – 125 Grizzlies

Ja Morant and Jonas Valančiūnas’ brilliant double-doubles paddled Memphis Grizzlies to a win over Washington Wizards at the Capital One Arena.

Morant finished with 35 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds, while Valančiūnas clocked 16 rebounds for a score of 11, while Russell Westbrook earns another consoling double-double.

Heat 80 – 94 Hawks

After losing the first of their back to back clashes, Atlanta Hawks bounced back against Miami Heat and pulled off a win at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Trae Young posted 18 points and 10 assists, along with 17 rebounds and 10 points from Clint Capela.

Celtics 117 – 112 Clippers

Despite Paul George’s score of 32, Los Angeles Clippers were outpaced by Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

Kemba Walker posted 25 points for the hosts, followed up with 18 points from Jaylen Brown, while Jayson Tatum and Payton Pritchard both tied at a score of 14.

Spurs 119 – 93 Knicks

After a neck to neck first half, San Antonio Spurs boosted ahead of New York Knicks in the second to finish with a comfortable win at the AT&T Center.

Trey Lyles led the hosts with scoring 18, along with DeMar DeRozan who finished with a double-double of 10 points and 11 assists. Dejounte Murray landed 17 points.

Bucks 97 – 128 Nuggets

Nikola Jokić clocked the 50th triple-double of his NBA career as Denver Nuggets dominated Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.

Jokić finished with 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 points, followed by Jamal Murray at 24 points. Off the bench, P. J. Dozier scored 19, while Giannis topped the hosts’ scoreboard with 27 points.

Lakers 104 – 114 Suns

Phoenix Suns handed a major upset to Los Angeles Lakers, pulling away in the final quarter and trouncing the hosts at the Staples Center.

Dario Šarić led the visitors scoring with 21, while Mikal Bridges followed close with 19 points. Both Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker posted 17 points each, as LeBron James’ effort of 38 went in vain.
