With almost every team kicking their NBA campaign off in the opening weekend, the franchises braced their second games with the Clippers opening their season.

NBA 2021-22 season

Hawks 113 – 87 Mavericks

Arguably one of the most improved teams last season which is backed by their appearance in the conference finals, Atlanta Hawks started the season with a blowout win over Dallas Mavericks.

Trae Young scored 19 points and had 14 assists to his name while his fellow draft player Luka Doncic scored the highest for the away side with 18 points.

Heat 137 – 95 Bucks

In a rematch of their first-round playoff series, where the Bucks recorded a 4-0 sweep, the Heat made a huge statement this time around with a stellar win over the defending champions.

The Heat dominated the away side and were on point from the word go with a 40-17 first quarter. Young Tyler Herro, following a poor 20-21 season, stepped up to the plate by scoring 27 points in a 24-minute appearance.

Giannis Antetokounmpo registered 15 points and 10 rebounds as the side played without Jrue Holiday today.

Clippers – Warriors

Stephen Curry despite a triple-double in the season opener against the Lakers, was arguably not at his best. This time around, he stole the show with a stellar 45-point display as the Golden State Warriors overcame a tight contest against Los Angeles Clippers.

The ace shooter recorded 100 percent shooting in the first quarter and amassed over half of his points at that stage itself. With Kawhi Leonard out for a significant period of time, Paul George led the side with 29 points but failed to hold on to their slender lead after the third quarter.

After failing to make it into the playoffs for 2 seasons in a row, the Warriors are off to a neat 2-0 start in the 2021-22 season.
