Last year, Shane Van Gisbergen made his NASCAR debut on the streets of Chicago, and this year, he’s gearing up to return to the road course. Joining him this time is Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi, a Le Mans winner, and the newcomer Timmy Hill, adding to the excitement of the event.

The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix is the sixth race in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, and it’s the first road course race of the year. This thrilling event will take place at the Circuit of the Americas .

Hailing from New Zealand, Shane Van Gisbergen brings an international flair to the Cup Series. His success in various racing disciplines, including Supercars and GT racing. Kamui Kobayashi, a former Formula 1 driver from Japan, will drive for 23XI Racing. Also, team owner Timmy Hill will race for MBM Motorsports. In the end, Carter Fartuch will represent Mexico in the Truck Series, driving for Reaume Brothers Racing.
