Max Verstappen uploaded a video to his Tik Tok account driving his powerful Aston Martin Valkyrie, but it could potentially make him face legal action.

The two-time Formula 1 champion and current leader of the 2023 championship, Verstappen uploaded a video to his Tik Tok account driving his Aston Martin Valkyrie. The price of the British car is around 3.2 million dollars, and there are only 150 units of this model in the world.

Although the clip earned Verstappen much accolades from his fans as well as car enthusiasts, it has been rumored that the Dutch driver may face prosecution for going over the speed limit and “endangering the lives of others”.

“Max Verstappen could be prosecuted based on the AMR Valkyrie video for ‘endangering the lives of others’. At the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie, a specialized cell tracks down these kinds of videos broadcasted on social networks. Also as per the same source, Max was apparently going at 120 KPH on a 90 KPH speed limit,” RBR Daily posted on X.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is a hypercar, a car located one step above the supercars. Aston Martin has co-developed this car with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and AF Racing and the celebrated Adrian Newey is involved in its development process to make it one of the fastest road cars ever made.

The Valkyrie is Aston Martin’s first hypercar, although logically the British brand has extensive experience creating sports cars for decades, having developed cars such as the Aston Martin DB11, the Aston Martin Vantage or the Aston Martin Vulcan in recent years.

However, this project is something very different from all those cars, because among other things it seeks to put on the streets a car capable of equaling in performance to competition vehicles such as those that run in Formula 1 or the 24 Hours of Le Mans and is expected to compete directly with the Mercedes-AMG ONE and the Koenigsegg Jesko.
